Whos Online

Let all your members view users online. Full featured who's online list with links to email and registry as well as defining the location on the system, geographic location and age of the user.

Feature Benefit
Online Member Listing
Realtime member list.
Allows site members the ability to see all members currently using the system.
Private or Open Access
Restrict the list to be viewable only by members or public access.
An option to require members to be logged in to be able to view the member list or simply allow anyone to view the list.
Keyed Access
Allow members to be invisible to the list by giving them a certain key.
Like all our modules, the whos online module takes advantage of the Locks and Keys features. You can keep any member off the whos online listing by giving them a particular key.
Email links
An automated link to the members E-mail address on the system.
Special graphic indicating that a member can E-mail the member listed by clicking on it. The E-mail link can be selected to use the local mail client on the members PC or to use our internal E-mail URL..
Lookup Link
A link to the registry service.
Allows quick access to the member lookup feature by providing a direct link to the registry.
Sex / Age / Geographic Location
Basic information about the members
Important in community based systems. These are the top items that can cause members to interact with each other.
Module Location
Show where a member is on the system.
Draws users to see what those modules are. Or simply to meet others in those modules such as chat or Photo albums or Instant messenger.
Current Class
Indicates the current membership classification.
Shows members the class of the other members. Class can often be considered a status symbol indicating certain benefits or even accomplishments in the eyes of other members.
Customization of the Module names.
Each module description can be customized
Module descriptions are triggered by module URLS. The file Dialwho.xrf acts as a cross reference file to the module names.
