| Overnight Batch Request Option |
If you have a very large database, or perhaps a database housed in a mainframe your system does not have direct access to, you can use our Batch Query interface to submit requests, process them overnight, and return the results via the e-mail interface. Many businesses have databases, housed on company mainframes, where queries against them can take hours (and are typically run as batch jobs overnight). This is not practical for typical web surfers who expect the results to be displayed immediately on their screen. With our product, the user makes their query request via the same online search functionalty, however the results are delivered to their e-mail box on the system the next day! |
